Sony Conference: The 5 Most Impactful Games HomeGamerSony Conference: The 5 Most Impactful Games
The 5 most impressive games presented at the Sony conference.
Sony’s online conference, held on June 11th, presented dozens of amazing games. Many of them we already expected, while others we hardly understand what they are, but we want to know more about most of them.
So today we are going to talk a little more about the 5 most impactful games announced by Sony. Some of them we were looking forward to, others completely surprised us.
The Demon’s Souls remake was really a surprise that we really enjoyed. For those who don’t know, the game was the first chapter of the Souls series created by Hidetaka Miyazaki and produced by developer FromSoftware. Also, it was released for Playstation 3, bringing back high difficulty games.
The concepts used in the game won a legion of fans who loved its dark story, mechanical realism, and difficulty. Still, perhaps the only flaw the game had was its still unpolished mechanics, as well as its modest graphics, since it was the first game with this approach.
So this remake could mean that one of the biggest games in the Souls saga could yet come.
Deathloop was already announced at E3 2019 and has a curious history. In it we play with Colt, a man trapped in a time loop and the only way to get out of it is to kill 8 targets trapped in this loop.
The problem is that everyone in it will be hunting Colt, especially a woman named Julianna, who is an assassin who aims to keep the loop going.
This premise sounds really exciting as it justifies the player’s different lives and gives meaning to the frenetic style of the game. Also, he learns from every kill and has to try to figure out who the 8 targets are and try to kill them in a fight against the clock.
Horizon: Forbidden West
As a sequel to the acclaimed Horizon Zero Dawn, in Horizon: Forbidden West we return to control Aloy, the protagonist of the first game. On this journey, the character sees her world ravaged by a plague that threatens all living things, infecting the soil and killing animals. Also, Aloy believes that she is the only one who can figure out how to prevent this and embarks on an adventure into unknown lands.
The graphics are amazing once again and the developers seem to want to explore the graphics of the PlayStation 5 to the fullest, showing large and vibrant locations as well as underwater environments and battles with various giant monsters.
Spider-Man: Miles Morales
2018’s Marvel’s Spider-Man was a game that surprised everyone and had everything a gamer and fan of the webhead would want to see in a game: frenetic action, immersive story, and moments filled with emotion and nostalgia.
So when a game starring Miles Morales was announced, we applauded. Mainly because of the introduction of the presentation trailer, which shows that they really understand what a hero is made of, which makes you want to do something and not give up.
Resident Evil Village
But the big star of the night [da apresentação] It was Resident Evil VIII. After several remakes, some excellent and some ok, Capcom presents a sequel in the vein of Resident Evil VII, which was extremely well received at launch, but now the game feels much bigger.
In this game we’ll take on the role of Ethan Winters again, but now we’ll have to explore an entire village that seems to have been overrun by vampires and werewolves. That being said, we don’t know how this will affect gameplay, but it feels like something far beyond what we’ve seen in Resident Evil VII, something that will appeal to both old and new fans alike.
These were the 5 most impressive games from the Sony conference in our opinion, we will talk a lot more about the other games and for that continue on our website by clicking here.
